Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Financial Reporting and Accounting to lead our accounting team and oversee global financial operations. In this role, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective internal controls. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving process improvements and supporting strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure their growth and success.


• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory requirements.


• Accounting Policy: Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.


• Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic business decisions, including group restructurings, spin-offs, and other significant transactions.


• Internal Controls: Ensure the design, implementation, and maintenance of effective internal controls over financial reporting.


• Global Accounting Operations: Oversee accounting operations across multiple locations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance with local regulations.


• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and resolve any issues that may arise.


• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

Qualifications:

• CPA or equivalent professional certification.


• Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate accounting, including 3 years in a leadership role.


• Experience working in a global company with complex financial structures and operations. Financial services/Fintech exposure is a plus.


• In-depth knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory requirements.


• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to develop a team.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to effectively communicate with senior management, external auditors, and other stakeholders.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Oracle implementation is a plus.
