About the role
DFDS is developing rapidly across Europe, Türkiye and Northern Africa. We have an ambitious climate action plan to reduce CO2 emissions – and we are determined to become an even more inclusive place to work. As a growing company, the need for alignment and scalability is apparent, and standardization and digitization are key priorities.
We are looking for a Head of Learning & Development to shape and refine our L&D offerings, including anchoring the new DFDS leadership model and launching the DFDS Academy. This should be done with a view to securing maximum impact of the existing budget and resources.
As the Head of Learning & Development at DFDS, you will be charged with:
You will be responsible for setting the direction of our learning and development efforts, ensuring that our employees have the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. You will have access to the latest technology (Workday and Skillsoft Percipio) to support your work.
As our new Head of Learning & Development, you will join the People Division, who supports DFDS’ overall strategy and works to ensure that DFDS becomes an even greater place to work. Specifically, you will be a part of the Centre of Excellence team – based in our new headquarter premises in Nordhavn, Copenhagen – reporting to the Head of Centre of Excellence.
Within the Centre of Excellence team, we are responsible for different areas. However, we are team players and take great pride in knowledge sharing and in exchanging tools, approaches, etc. to inspire and help each other. While we have a strong professionalism, we make sure to have fun along the way - both in the office and in off-site social activities.
