IFU has a strong focus on creating sustainable and responsible businesses, which generate measurable social, economic and climate impacts as well as solid financial returns.The position and your tasksAs Investment Manager, you will:

• become part of an engaged and experienced investment organisation with over 50 investment professionals covering all types of investments.

• primarily be a member of deal teams; analysing and executing new investment proposals, conducting due diligence, carrying out financial modelling, taking part in negotiating terms and drafting legal documentation, preparing, and following up on materials for the investment committee and board, etc.

The position is based in our headquarters in the beautiful center of Copenhagen, right next to Marmorkirken. IFU offers a hybrid and flexible workplace.The teamYou will become part of the Investment department that consists of over 50 highly qualified and motivated Investment Professionals working in teams covering sectors like Financial Services, Sustainable Food Systems, Healthcare and Green Energy & Infrastructure, the Development Guarantee Facility team, and DSIF delivering on public sustainable infrastructure projects. You would be expected to join one of the investment teams to begin with, while taking part in a rotation program allowing you to develop your knowledge and expertise in the different sectors as your career develops.In IFU we attach great importance to good teamwork and collaboration, maintaining a positive atmosphere and having fun together. We help each other out, share our knowledge, and – while each of us hold high standards and integrity to our work – we don’t take ourselves too seriously and share a good laugh.Key qualifications are 2-5 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, private equity, impact investing, consulting, or other relevant experience. In addition, you:

• hold a master’s degree with good academic results• have solid understanding of financial analysis and valuation• are an expert user of Microsoft Office and especially Excel, with an aptitude for financial modelling • are fluent in English both in writing and spoken• are curious to broaden your understanding of the world and keen to travel
