IT & Infrastructure Engineer

If you are motivated by working in a high-stakes security environment and have experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, we are looking for a skilled IT & Infrastructure Engineer for our Infrastructure & Operations team who can actively contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our secure hybrid IT platforms. You will also drive infrastructure projects and support operational excellence; all while being driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in the world.

Your primary role will be to design, implement, secure, and maintain our hybrid IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.

Areas of responsibility:

• IT operations, supporting the XCI IT infrastructure and its users






• Internal infrastructure projects, such as office buildouts, migrations, and upgrades






• Managing and monitoring Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and networking






• Endpoint/device management and user access management across the organization






• Collaborating with DevOps and security teams on infrastructure projects, automation and compliance

About you:

You have several years of experience working with enterprise IT infrastructure and supporting users, in both on-premises and cloud environments. You bring a strong background from client-facing roles or IT consulting. You are highly service minded, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and drives IT initiatives forward from planning to execution.

Motivated by continuous learning, you naturally explore new technologies and enjoy contributing to the improvement of security, resilience, and efficiency within IT operation. You have successfully delivered end-to-end infrastructure projects and are experienced in IT operations within hybrid cloud/on-prem environments.

Collaboration comes naturally to you— You are well-versed in handling day to day IT operations and support and you work effectively with DevOps and development teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment. As a strong team player, you actively share knowledge and insights with colleagues, and you communicate fluently in English, both in writing and speaking.

You have experience with:

• Microsoft 365 administration: managing and securing Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft Entra ID, and Intune, with a focus on automation, compliance, and user support.






• Deploying and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure and administering Windows and Linux platforms






• Virtualization Technologies: VMware, Hyper-V






• Managing and securing cloud Infrastructure like Azure and AWS






• Security Operations: MFA, patch management, firewalls, endpoint protection and network monitoring






• Monitoring tools like Zabbix or other centralized logging platforms






• Scripting and Automation: PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible






• ITIL & Change Management: Service desk workflows, incident/change management
