We are currently seeking an IT specialist with network and Cyber Security knowledge to support our remote access infrastructure and customer support. The focus on a secure and reliable infrastructure is vital as our customers represent critical infrastructure all over the world. BEUMER Group is ISO 27001 certified which also drives the focus on cyber security.

To help maintain and develop a remote access infrastructure and IT services for our customers, we are looking for a team member who is a conceptional thinker, passionate, a team-player and capable of spanning many technologies, while also being service minded to the Customer support teams. The ideal candidate for this role would have expertise in network operations and cyber security and would be willing to work in multiple areas within Infrastructure and server management.

Our Remote Support team is consisting of 10 IT specialists and an architect. Most are situated in Denmark, with engineers in Canada, UAE, France and Australia. We are continuously working on increasing our global organization.

Your job tasks will include

• Improving our remote support infrastructure with focus on availability, usability, and security.
• Setting up, improving and maintaining remote access platform and connections to our customers
• Providing advice and support on questions and issues related to Cyber Security
• Supporting our Hotline department and Monitoring Center with questions related to our remote support infrastructure.
• Up to 20 travel days pr. year visiting customers and BEMUER Group companies worldwide.

An experienced and curious network professional with cyber security focus. We expect you to have solid experience within the field of network operations and Cyber Security, based on a foundation of relevant education, training and certifications. You possess a strong knowledge and hands on experience with cisco and palo alto network devices.

Besides this, we also imagine you to have:

• Hands-on experience with firewalls, switches, routers, authentication mechanisms, encryption and device hardening
• Worked with monitoring and logging.
• Knowledge of common security standards and frameworks
• Knowledge of Windows servers

As a person you have excellent communication skills, speaking and writing fluent English – Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement.
