Junior Analyst (Student) to Join Our Compliance Team in Copenhagen

The Job 

As a Junior Analyst (Student) in the Risk & Compliance team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of core compliance and risk management activities and contribute to the day-to-day regulatory operations of Novo Holdings. 
 
You will be an integral part of this growing function and gain valuable insight into how compliance frameworks are developed and applied in a global investment firm. 
 
Your responsibilities will include: 

• Processing and screening KYC documentation for business partners, investment counterparties, and service providers 

• Assisting in the drafting and maintenance of internal policies, procedures, and governance documents 

• Conducting horizon scanning to identify and summarise emerging legal and regulatory developments 

• Supporting the design and execution of compliance monitoring activities and internal controls 

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather data, facilitate reviews, and promote compliance awareness 

• Conducting legal and regulatory research and preparing concise internal briefings 

• Developing visual materials and presentations using PowerPoint and Excel 
  

Personal & Professional Qualifications 

We are looking for a candidate who: 

• Is currently enrolled in the first or second year of a Master’s programme in Law (Cand.jur./LL.M) or Commercial Law (Cand.merc.(jur.)) 

• Has a strong academic record and demonstrated interest in regulatory compliance, corporate governance, or risk management 

• Communicates fluently in English—both written and verbal 

• Works in a structured, analytical, and independent manner 

• Has strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving 

• Is a team player who thrives in a professional, international environment 

• Is proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

Practical Information 

• The position is part-time (approximately 15–20 hours per week) with flexibility around your academic schedule
