Lead Coating & Quality Engineer

At Titan Wind Operational Support Europe (TOS), are we seeking an ambitious Lead Coating & Quality Engineer who can combine technical expertise with a strong business mindset.

In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring the quality of coating and surface treatment on advanced steel structures, delivering value to both our customers and our business. You will be responsable for developing and optimizing processes that enhance quality and strengthen our competitive edge.

Your primary base will be in Varde, with regular travel to our main facility in Cuxhaven.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret customer requirements and international standards into practical coating and quality solutions that add project value.

• Develop and optimize Quality Control Plans (QCPs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) in close collaboration with our team and customers.

• Actively contribute to tender processes to ensure competitive and feasible coating solutions.

• Lead quality assurance of coating processes in close cooperation with production teams, suppliers, and customers.

• Support the development and implementation of digital tools that streamline quality assurance and documentation.

Your Profile

• Technical education as an engineer, marine engineer, or equivalent.

• Strong experience in coating, surface treatment, and quality management—certifications such as FROSIO or equivalent are a plus.

• Understanding of quality requirements in offshore wind steel structure tenders.

• Familiarity with international standards (ISO, EN, DS, etc.).

• Structured, detail-oriented, and able to see the broader business perspective.

• Enthusiastic about using digital solutions to enhance quality and efficiency.

• Fluent in Danish and English at a professional level.
