Lead Piping Supervisor

• Liaise and co-ordinate site activities alongside other trades ensuring MSL install progress is at maximum efficiency
• Carry out weekly reports and issue to line manager, meet weekly installation targets
• Identify work fronts to open scope, issue work packs in line with schedule, sign off work packs on completion of works
• Carry out weekly toolbox talks and site audits if required
• Attend white board morning meetings and communicate its contents to the MSL supervisors
• Ensure the labour requirements are met and maintained as per project program requirements
• Ensuring the quality of the installation works is maintained to the highest level whilst adhering to the required site specifications
• Ensure that the Subcontractors are working as efficiently as possible and in line with the agreed works or area schedule
• Ensure that all variations and delays are notified to CM & PM. Only proceed with additional works or variations on receipt of a written notification, delays must be reported in real time
• Ensuring all plant materials onsite are as per agreed specifications. Report faulty or defective equipment
• Ensuring all delivered materials are coordinated and stored in a safe and secure manner with receipt of delivery signed off
• Ensuring all Subcontractors Plant and access equipment is certified and in good working condition
• Health & Safety on site is keeping with site rules and requirements and ensuring that all Subcontractors are working in a safe manner
• Review ways of working and where possible implement changes to improve safety with all craft to ensure they are working in a safe manner
• Ensuring housekeeping is kept to a high standard by all MSL craft and Sub Contactors
• Report directly to the Construction Manager on weekly lookahead labour requirements
• Liaise with the Construction manager on meterage install progress daily
• Assess craft on ability weekly, co-ordinate craft between work areas, allocate works to craft based on ability/efficiency
• Should be able to provide cover for the Construction Manager if on rotation
• Attend weekly internal meetings to provide site updates

Qualifications & Experience

• Pharma experience is advantageous
• Ability to read isometric drawings/GAs and P&IDs
• Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills with an eagerness to be a team player to help deliver projects safely and on schedule
• Proficiency in the use of MS Word & Excel is required
• Ability to use Navis Works 3D Model is essential
