Step into the role of Lead Project Manager in Group PMO at Saxo Bank and help steer some of the most business‑critical and complex initiatives in the bank. You’ll be at the center of how we drive transformation, with real influence on what we deliver and how we deliver it.
You will become part of the project management team in Group PMO - an engaged and collaborative team responsible for delivering high-quality project execution, portfolio transparency, and governance. As a team we are known for spirit, trust, and execution excellence. We work across the entire organisation and support both strategic transformation and operational change.
In this role, you’ll take end‑to-end ownership of complex, cross-functional projects within areas such as regulatory and compliance, platform and infrastructure initiatives and product and pricing launches. You’ll set direction and drive delivery with structure, clarity, and confidence, acting as a senior sparring partner for stakeholders at all levels. You’ll own facilitation, risk management, and stakeholder alignment – and be expected to challenge, influence, and make things happen.
The position is based in Copenhagen (HQ), with limited travel expected. Physical presence will be . Relocation will not be provided.
Responsibilities
Lead and deliver complex, high‑impact projects across the organization
Own governance, planning, financials, risks, and reporting – and keep everyone aligned on status
Drive cross‑functional stakeholder alignment and clear decision‑making
Mentor and support other PMs within Group PMO and help raise the overall bar
Contribute to developing and maturing our project management frameworks and standards
Your profile
You are a highly experienced Project Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys engaging with stakeholders at all levels. You communicate clearly, challenge constructively, and bring structure into complexity. You are proactive, resilient, and comfortable taking leadership in situations where direction is needed. You collaborate naturally across functions and act as a trusted advisor for management.
Qualifications & experience:
8+ years of PM experience delivering large, complex projects
Strong stakeholder and communication skills
Experience in cross functional project delivery in complex organizations
Experience from the financial sector is a plus
Strong command of project planning, governance, and reporting tools (Monday)
Excellent facilitation skills
