Job Description - Logistics Manager Nordics

Position: Regional Logistics Manager

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark (hybrid)

Company: Food and Beverage Company

Type: Full-Time, Perm

Role Overview:

As a Regional Logistics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our logistics operations across the region. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the timely and cost-effective distribution of our products, managing warehouse operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for Customer Service and Costs optimization along the logistic chain. You will lead a dedicated team, collaborate with various departments, and implement strategies to enhance our supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage regional logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Oversees company budget (Warehousing, Distribution and Inbound)
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Manage budget and financial aspects of logistics operations.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems and processes.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives within the logistics function, aligning with the company's environmental goals.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain/logistics management
  • Experience working in the FMCG
  • Proven track record of successfully managing regional logistics operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to food and beverage logistics is a plus.
