We are seeking a passionate Manager in Global Medical Information to join our growing team. As a key member of the Ascendis Pharma team, you will play a crucial role in generating standard and customized global Medical Information content to fulfill unsolicited Medical Information requests. In addition, you will help expand the Medical Information capabilities in our expanding European affiliates. You will be joining the Global Medical Information team consisting of five colleagues, and report directly to Tommy Kok Annfeldt, Associate Director Global Medical Informationwho is based in Tuborg Havn, Hellerup, Denmark. You will also be based in Tuborg Havn, Hellerup, Denmark.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Serves as the subject matter expert for Medical Information for assigned therapeutic areas and/or products
• Responsible for the development, update/maintenance, and delivery of global and local Medical Information content for assigned therapeutic areas and/or products, ensuring materials are aligned with the needs of the regions/countries and consistent with global Medical Affairs content
• Researches and analyses scientific information to address escalated Medical Information inquiries
• Provides on-going training to call center teams and other relevant individuals on new or updated Medical Information content
• Establish and continuously monitor enquiry trends and metrics and proactively identifies unmet content needs and communicates product trends to the wider business

Qualifications and Skills:

You hold a relevant academic degree – preferably a MSc Pharm – and at least 2 years of experience within Medical Information, Medical Affairs, or comparable medical information experience.

Furthermore, you:

• Are proficient with computer and software applications (i.e., Microsoft office), have experience with Medical Information systems used for information requests and content management, and are skilled at utilizing medical literature and drug information databases.
• Effectively deals with ambiguity, embraces change and adapts quickly to change.
• Possesses advanced skills at writing/summarizing clinical and scientific data.
• Exhibits strong oral and written communication skills.
• Are highly proficient in recognizing needs, prioritizing work, and taking initiatives on projects/assignments.
