Jørgen KRUUSE A/S is seeking a dynamic and experienced Nordic Sales Director to lead our sales operations across Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland.

The position

As our Nordic Sales Director you will lead our sales operations across Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland. This pivotal role involves driving strategic sales initiatives, managing a team of sales representatives, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets and business growth in the region. You will be a part of the management team in Langeskov.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Leadership:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for the Nordic region, aligned with corporate objectives and market opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Set sales targets and performance objectives for the sales team, ensuring accountability and achievement of goals.
  • Team Management and Development:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team across the Nordic countries, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development initiatives.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team and with other departments.
  • Market Development:

  • Drive market expansion efforts, identifying new business opportunities and establishing relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Oversee the development and execution of regional sales plans, promotional activities, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on market dynamics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Customer Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Address customer concerns and issues promptly, working closely with the sales team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer retention and acquisition.
  • Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure efficient and effective sales operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product management teams to align sales efforts with product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Optimize sales processes and tools to improve productivity and effectiveness.
  • The candidate

    To be successful you need to have solid experience with sales management and driving strategic sales initiatives.

    Specifically, we put emphasis on:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of sales management experience, preferably in the veterinary or medical device industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in a regional or multi-country setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading remote teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex market data and develop strategic plans.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Fluency in English and at least one Scandinavian language; additional languages are a plus.
  • Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the veterinary market or related industries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the Nordic market dynamics and regulatory environment.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the Nordic region and occasionally to other locations as required.
