How you will make an impact 

As Operational Excellence Manager, Fleet, you will own the end-to-end strategy and governance for fleet and MHE assets across Logistics. You will define global standards and replacement roadmaps, ensuring best-in-class performance, safety, sustainability and total cost of ownership across markets. Furthermore, your key responsibilities include:

• Define and execute truck and MHE replacement strategies and long-term roadmaps across markets.


• Establish and drive global equipment standards to ensure performance, safety and cost efficiency.


• Act as subject matter expert within fleet excellence, developing best-in-class processes and governance frameworks.


• Partner closely with Procurement and Sustainability PMO to shape fuel strategies and fleet provider partnerships.


• Collaborate with market logistics teams to ensure execution and value realization.


• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.


• Lead and mentor stakeholders across markets, influencing senior leadership to adopt harmonized fleet standards.


• Persuades senior management or stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes
   

What will make you successful 

To succeed in this role, you combine strong fleet and asset lifecycle expertise with strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You set clear standards, drive value across markets, and influence stakeholders to deliver operational excellence. We imagine the ideal candidate brings:

• A bachelor’s and a master's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Engineering or similar


• 7+ years of experience in fleet/MHE management or transport/warehouse operations, ideally across multiple markets.


• Solid expertise in asset lifecycle management and TCO modeling.


• Experience with fleet systems, telematics, and TMS integrations, combined with strong analytical skills.


• Knowledge of fleet sustainability solutions (EVs, alternative fuels, energy management).


• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive standardization and performance improvements in complex organizations.


• A results-driven mindset with the ability to execute and deliver measurable impact.


• Certifications such as Lean/Six Sigma, PMP/Prince2 or relevant safety/compliance credentials are considered an advantage.

You will join the Global Operational Excellence team and report directly to Peyami Birsen. The role is based in Viby, with approximately 40% travel, as staying closely connected to our local markets is an essential part of how we work.
