Job Description - P2P Manager

If so, now is your chance to join Ascendis Pharma as our new P2P Manager in Finance Operations.

We are seeking a passionate P2P Manager to join our growing team. As a key member of the Ascendis Pharma team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our PtP accounting team, focusing on Accounts Payable and Expense Management. oversee our PtP accounting team, focusing on Accounts Payable and Expense Management. You will join and lead a team of 3 Accounts and a group of 4 Student Assistants.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional, global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results.

You will be joining the PtP Accounting team, and report directly to Kaare Daugaard Hansen, Head of Treasury and PtP who is based in Hellerup, Denmark. You will also be based in Denmark.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Supervising a team of 3 Accountants and a group of 4 Student Assistant.
  • Overseeing the Accounts Payable and Expense Management functions.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Managing the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures ensuring continuous improvement

Qualifications and Skills:
You hold a relevant academic degree – preferably a Master of Accounting or Finance – and with +2 years of experience from a similar role.

Furthermore, you have :

  • Proficiency in accounting systems - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 FO) is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.

You possess an entrepreneurial mindset and can thrive in an informal, open environment where innovation and change are key.

To succeed in this role, we also expect you to be a structured and holistic thinking leader who can help the team organize and prioritize. Furthermore, you possess the ability to communicate efficiently with key stakeholders of the team.

Travel : 5-10 days per year.

Office : Hellerup, Denmark.
