Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be a part of the Day-Ahead team which is responsible for assessing market data, and executing trades to capitalize on pricing inefficiencies and market trends within the Day-Ahead power markets. More precisely, your responsibilities will include:

• Trading : Participate in daily auctions in the power markets to execute trading strategies and be present when opportunities arise. Be comfortable using trading platforms and software.
• Market Analysis : Perform ad-hoc analysis of the power markets fundamentals and prices to identify opportunities.
• Fundamentals : Be on top of power fundamental data, weather forecasts and current status of the international power grid in order to make well-informed decisions and minimize surprises.
• Reporting : Maintain accurate records of the trading activities for bookkeeping and evaluation.
• Communication : Collaborate with traders to align strategies, give updates on market insights and handover reports to the Intraday team.
• Continuous Improvement : Identify areas for improvement and constantly evaluate and optimize current processes.
