We are one of the fastest-growing podcast and audiobook platforms in Europe, and we are on the lookout for a dynamic Podcast Operations Manager to join our vibrant team in Berlin. As our new Podcast Operations Manager, you will be at the heart of our production process, orchestrating and coordinating our diverse productions. This is the role
You are the organizational cornerstone of our podcast productions. As a Podcast Operations Manager, you ensure that our productions run smoothly, whether in our in-house studio in Berlin or during external recordings in other cities. Your role involves coordinating all aspects of production, from studio and recording planning to managing freelancer networks and implementing contracts. Your passion is to bring creative projects to life while making operational processes efficient and you don’t shy away from designing those from scratch. You don’t take “we’ve always done it this way” as an answer and will be the central point of contact for our team, ensuring that all parts work seamlessly together.

Your main responsibilities in this role:
Studio, Production & Host-Read Ads Coordination:

• Booking and managing our in-house studio
• Organizing and coordinating external recordings in various cities
• Handling inquiries and bookings of guests for interview formats
• Planning and executing promotional shoots around the recordings
• From final Cover to creative assets: You have the best overview over everything that needs to be finished to make a show launch-ready
• Ensuring that recordings for host-read ads are completed on time and with high quality
• Collaborating closely with the Audience Development Team to ensure advertisements are placed in the correct podcast episodes and partners are satisfied

Contract Management:

• Implementing and drafting specific requirements in collaboration with the legal team
• Ensuring timely finalisation of contracts
  
  

Tracking and Reporting:

• Regularly monitoring the performance of our formats in the market
• Creating and presenting performance reports to management

General Project Organisation:

• Ensuring high content quality through close collaboration with the production and marketing teams
• Supporting the showrunner in production planning and execution
  Managing and overseeing budgets for productions
• Commissioning and coordinating freelancers as needed

Experience we’re looking for:

• You have at least 3 years of experience in project management, ideally in the media or entertainment industry.
• You bring strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• You have a basic understanding of contract management and legal requirements.
• You can analyze performance data and create informed reports.
• You are flexible and willing to travel as needed.
• You have a passion for podcasts and a good understanding of the podcast landscape.
• You are an organizational talent with a hands-on mentality and a strong implementation orientation.
• Last but not least, speaking German is a must

Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus!
