Product Owner Fixed-term contract

BLAST is a global esports media network on a mission to create world-class entertainment experiences for millions of fans around the world. You’ll be part of a diverse and dynamic organisation with roots in traditional sports, entertainment, and esports - all working together to deliver unforgettable experiences and keep raising the bar.

You will join BLAST.tv, a direct to consumer product, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of developers and designers to build innovative features powered by emerging technologies and modern development principles. In this role, you will contribute across the entire product lifecycle, from strategy to execution, acting as the connective glue between teams to ensure alignment, quality, and seamless delivery

The role will be a 13-month fixed-term contract.

• Degree in a technical or mathematical discipline, or equivalent experience desirable.
• Logical thinker, good communication and excited to learn at a rapid pace.
• Effective interpersonal skills and strong presentation abilities.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in a technology, data, and/or media environment.

• Bonus: Understanding of data analysis. Interest in gaming / sports statistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Play a key role in every aspect of the development process.
• Coordinate cycle planning for your products with the Head of Product, balancing priorities alongside deadlines.
• Own the roadmap for your products, ensuring stakeholders are regularly updated.
• Partner with developers and designers to define and deliver highly-scalable user focused solutions.
• Oversee and ensure effective prioritisation of all requested product development work.
• Keep users at the forefront, keep the scope and deliver iteratively.
