Embedded in the globally active HYDAC Group, HYDAC Software GmbH works on the software development and maintenance of control systems for mobile machinery. We consider the complete lifecycle of construction, agricultural and municipal machinery: from planning to service. Our MATCH software suite plays a central role in this. It can be used to implement new applications for complex vehicle or machine control systems, but also to redesign existing machines, machine parts or functions in the shortest possible time.

You can find us both in Großbeeren, on the southern edge of Berlin, and in Saarland, the headquarters of the HYDAC Group.

THESE CHALLENGES AWAIT YOU:

Our safety-certified software tool chain "MATCH" enables the automation of mobile machinery. Our customers can use the various tools to develop complete software solutions for their work machines, from classic machine control, including HMI and telematics, to image processing and AI. As a product manager, you will contribute to MATCH's success by:

• Competitor analysis and market observation.
• For MATCH's internal stakeholders and our customers, you will act as the first point of contact for the strategic development of the tool chain.
• Review, evaluate and prioritize market and customer requirements and consolidate them where necessary
• Analysis of market potential for new functions.
• Translation of the respective requirements into specific features and user stories.
• Clarification of technical feasibility, taking into account the necessary development effort
• Creation of product definitions / specifications for MATCH.
• Preparation of presentations for strategic product development.

HOW THEY INSPIRE US:

• You have completed a technical or business administration/technical degree (computer science, business informatics, technical management and marketing, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, vehicle construction or similar).
• You have initial experience in strategic product management as well as market knowledge in the field of software tools or the construction or agricultural machinery industry.
• You are familiar with design thinking, have knowledge of Windows design guidelines and graphic design tools or agile product development techniques.
• You have experience in Windows (ideally: WPF or XAML) or embedded programming (C/C++, Qt and/or MATLAB/SIMULINK).
• You are fundamentally a strong communicator and know how to convince others, especially in an argumentative way.
• Your written and spoken German and English skills are very good.
