Job Description - Project Data & Planning Specialist

Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers, and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water, and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

About the job

As Project Data & Planning Specialist, you play a critical role in securing high-quality project data and reliable planning support across our global project portfolio. You ensure that project information is correctly structured, maintained, and aligned across Axapta (ERP) and PROMIS, enabling consistent reporting, forecasting, and performance follow-up for both Capital Sales and After Sales projects.

Working closely with Project Managers, Finance, and Project Controls, you act as a key support function that brings structure, clarity, and data integrity to project execution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and govern core project data, structures, and metadata in Axapta and PROMIS throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Support Project Managers with project setup, milestones, planning updates, re-planning, and project closure activities.

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and alignment between operational, financial, and reporting requirements.

  • Act as “Data Steward” for project-related data, workflows, and standards, including documentation and guidelines.

  • Support global users with system navigation, process adherence, and troubleshooting.

  • Coordinate cross-functional data updates with Finance, Engineering, Logistics, and Sales.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives related to project systems and processes.

Who are you

You are a structured and detail-oriented professional who takes ownership of data and processes. You enjoy supporting others, thrive in a collaborative environment, and feel motivated by creating clarity in complex setups. You communicate clearly across cultures, stay calm when managing multiple stakeholders, and naturally look for ways to improve how things are done.

What you know

You bring a foundation in project-related data, systems, and planning, combined with a good understanding of how projects are executed in technical or project-driven organizations.

We expect that you have:

  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Axapta / D365, and data-intensive project modules.

  • Understanding of project lifecycles, execution models, and structured planning with milestones.

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Project Management, or a similar field.

  • Additional training or certification in project management (e.g. PMP or similar) is considered a strong advantage.
