Job Summary

We are looking for an ambitious and structured Purchaser who enjoys creating order, driving improvements, and making a real impact in daily operations. In this role, you will take ownership of the purchasing activities for your own component group, ensuring materials are available to support production in our factory.

This is a permanent position based in Aarhus (Højbjerg), Denmark with up to 10 days of travel per year. You will report to the Logistics Manager, PSE Manufacturing & Supply Chain Integration in Tetra Pak Processing Systems A/S.

What you will do

As a Purchaser, you will be responsible for daily purchasing activities, follow-up on deliveries and confirmations, and securing the right balance between cost, quality, and availability. You will also contribute to optimization initiatives and work closely with colleagues, suppliers, and subcontractors in an international matrix organisation.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Manage daily purchasing for your own component group


• Follow up on order confirmations, delayed deliveries, and invoice control


• Participate in internal and external projects


• Support the implementation of the purchasing strategy


• Secure accurate master data for your materials


• Ensure the factory has the right supply through forecasting, master data updates, and appropriate safety stock levels

We believe you have

• 3–5 years of experience within Purchasing or Supply Chain


• Strong supply chain knowledge in a customer-driven environment; experience in technical purchasing is an advantage


• Experience from an international matrix organisation, where you have contributed to strong project delivery and after-sales support


• A proven ability to drive optimisation and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, colleagues, and external partners


• Strong skills in taking initiative, prioritising, and planning your work


• Good communication skills and confidence working across functions, levels, and geographies


• Strong MS Office skills


• Fluency in English and Danish


• Experience from the food industry is an advantage, but not required
