procurement from operational execution to strategic excellence. You will lead our efforts in securing
the future of Veo’s hardware production.
The Role: As Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for the overall procurement execution,
team leadership, and the commercial health of our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Manage and empower the procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence
and data-driven decision-making - Strategy Development: Create and implement long-term sourcing strategies that align with
Veo’s growth and sustainability goals. Delivering a scalable plan - High-Level Negotiation: Lead complex negotiations for key accounts and long-term supply
agreements - Governance: Ensuring close cooperation with R&D and production.
- Risk Mitigation: Ensure a resilient supply chain by identifying alternative sources and
managing global supply risks (especially within semiconductors and electronics) - C-Level Collaboration: Report on COGS, savings, and supply chain health to the executive
team
Your Profile:
- Leadership:Track record of leading a team and delivering results. Preferably 10+ years in procurement/sourcing. Working in a multicultural organization with a high degree of ownership
- Technical Background: Deep experience in the Hardware industry (electronics or
mechanics) sector is essential - Global Experience: You have a proven track record of managing international supply chains
and have traveled extensively to vet and manage suppliers - Strategic Thinker: You don't just buy parts; you build systems, optimize forecasts, and
understand the "big picture" of a global tech company
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Reduction: Looking beyond unit price to shipping, quality,
and risk costs - On time delivery: SOTIF >95% / No production stops / 6-8 inventory turns / AQL >95%
- Supplier Risk Scorecard: Implementing a system to identify and mitigate risks (e.g., single-
source dependencies) - Department Productivity: Effective management of the procurement team and process
automation - Strategic Roadmap: Successful execution of a long-term sourcing strategy for new product
generations
