We do this with equity and transparency as our guiding star, and we have a clear ambition to drive a sustainable rewards agenda in support of our ambition to double revenue and becoming an Industry winning Enterprise.

In this role you can be based out of our office in Lyngby, Denmark or Mumbai, India.

In this position we offer you the opportunity to lead various global reward initiatives and processes. This could be our global Job Architecture, development of global recognition plans and/or our global Sales Incentives Schemes. We are generally curious in exploring new ways of driving rewards so that they are compelling, competitive, and utilise knowledge of an ever-changing talent landscape, and you will be instrumental in ensuring this. We need you to identify trends and market needs, and continually bring new ideas forward so that Hempel is meeting the needs of our employees.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead design of selected global reward and recognition initiatives to support an inclusive work place, drive motivation and optimizing the spend on rewards
  • Be the process owner of our Global Job Architecture and ensure its continue development
  • Acting as sparring partner to Strategic Business Partners and Functional Leaders on rewards
  • Build the skills required for managers to execute on reward initiatives
  • Use analytics to understand perceived value of initiatives and adoption rates
  • Leverage technology to gain a level of centralized strategic oversight
  • Lead all communications and interactions with the global People & Culture community and key stakeholders for the initiatives and processes which you are responsible for.

We believe you are most likely to succeed in this role if you have a relevant academic background at Master level or higher, 6+ years of experience from a global organisation, or as a consultant, focusing on rewards, and have been managing global reward projects.

Furthermore we imagine you to:

  • Have project management experience
  • Strong theoretical and practical understanding of how rewards can bring value to an organisation
  • Thrive with complexity and navigating in a large organisation
  • Understand how to plan and communicate change effectively, and engage with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation.

This is how you move on
