Job Description - Risk & Performance Analyst - Risk & Compliance

We are looking for a Risk & Performance Analyst to join our Risk & Compliance team in Copenhagen. 

We offer an opportunity to play a pivotal role in monitoring and reporting risk and performance across all our investment areas—spanning both public and private markets.

The Job  

As a Risk & Performance Analyst you will join the Danish part of our global Risk & Compliance team. Here you will work closely with colleagues across functions and geographies. Carrying out both the day-to-day operations as well as supporting our key strategic initiatives. You will report to the Head of Risk & Compliance. 

Your main tasks will be to: 

  • Monitoring portfolio risk and performance metrics, identifying material deviations, and escalating issues as needed 
  • Preparing insightful reports and presentations for senior management and governance forums 
  • Assessing risks linked to investment strategies, market movements, and macroeconomic shifts 
  • Supporting committee and board materials with clear, decision-relevant risk analysis 
  • Collaborating with investment teams to evaluate risk/return trade-offs within the defined risk appetite 
  • Contributing to the evolution of risk policies, frameworks, and dashboards 

Staying current on industry best practices, regulatory trends, and analytical tools.

Professional Qualifications   

We are looking for a candidate with: 

  • Solid financial markets understanding  
  • MSc in Finance, Economics, Statistics or other relevant university degree 
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience post degree ideally in a financial institution 
  • Data analysis skills; proficient in Excel; experience with risk or performance systems, Power BI, or Python  
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written
