System Architect — Developer & Release Platform
A role with impact beyond technology
This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of how hearing-aid software is built and released. We are bringing together several architect mandates into one strategic System Architect role with the opportunity to define the technical direction across our entire developer and release platform.
In this role, you will influence how 300–400 software engineers collaborate, build and deliver software every day. More than writing code yourself, you will create the direction, alignment and technical vision that enable teams to succeed together.
You will lead mostly through trust and good working relationships rather than formal authority.
You will have the backing of leadership and the mandate to connect people, platforms and processes across the organisation. Working through trust, collaboration and strong technical judgement, you will help create a platform that is always ready to deliver – and ultimately contribute to better hearing solutions for people around the world.
If you are driven by creating something bigger than the technology itself – and by seeing your work ultimately improve people's lives – you will find purpose in this role.
What this role covers
The full developer and release platform for our hearing-aid software in our Foundation Agile Release Train — the developer tools and everyday developer experience, the CI/CD pipeline (build, integration and test), and release management, plus the supporting internal tooling that links into it. The aim is to make all of this function as one smooth experience for the people using it, keep the platform healthy and ready to release at any time, and help the teams get more out of AI in how they build and release software.
What you will do
Who you are
We are open to different backgrounds. You might come from firmware and embedded software, or from a broader DevOps, platform or CI/CD background — or a bit of both. What matters most is good technical judgement and being able to bring people along with you.
What we offer
At Demant, you will join a collaborative engineering culture where trust, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement are part of everyday work. We believe the best solutions are created when talented people are given the freedom to take ownership, challenge ideas and work together across disciplines.
You will step into a role with significant influence, where your ideas will help shape the future of our engineering organisation. At the same time, you will be supported by experienced colleagues, committed leadership and an environment that values personal growth.
Most importantly, you will be part of a company where technology has a clear purpose – helping people connect with the world through better hearing.
Please send your CV and application as soon as possible and no later than August 31st, 2026. We will conduct 1st interview week 37 and 2nd interview week 39. If you would like to know more about the position, you may contact Director, Jonas Funk Pedersen on email at [email protected].
We look forward to hearing from you.
