Job Description - Sales Manager, South Sweden, Copenhagen, Denmark

As our new Sales Manager, South Sweden you will be part of an ambitious and highly dedicated PAN European commercial team. We are responsible for growing our business and delivering the highest quality of service to our client base. The main purpose of your role will be generating profitable volume and revenue growth across P&O Ferrymasters products within European D2D business in trailers and containers to/from Sweden (and Denmark). Focus to be on lead generation and sales to new accounts as well as growing same over time.

You will have your office space in Copenhagen, and the expectation is that you are on the road hunting new business in South Sweden a few days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Win new business.
  • Generate and qualify leads of potential new customers.
  • Develop and nurture leads/opportunities generated.
  • Sharing leads with colleagues (You will both receive and share).
  • Plan, prepare and carry out virtual and F2F meetings with potential new customers.
  • Involve and align with all relevant internal stakeholders e.g. Customer Service and Product during the sales process.
  • Create high-quality handover/onboarding of customers with Customer Service.
  • Share market insights with colleagues contributing to the development of pricing structure.
  • Support Tender Management in creating competitive responses to tenders.
  • CRM is to be up to date at any given time.
  • Sales and market reports are to be made on a regular basis incl. your sales activities, pipeline etc.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings.
  • Attend exhibitions and conferences when needed.

Your Profile
  • You have min. 3-5 years experience with sales in Freight forwarding or similar.
  • You are Hunter and a winner.
  • You are Customer-centric and Decisive.
  • Commercial mindset and a team player
  • Your communication skills allow you to communicate in a clear and direct language.
  • You are a good negotiator.
  • You are native speaking Swedish or Danish + speak and write English at negotiation level.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office packages & CRM.
