We are seeking a passionate BI Solutions Engineer to join our team. You will join the Data & Analytics team, who is responsible for the cross-functional data platform and data services for analytical purposes, and we pride ourselves on being obsessed with data and highly focused on using good practice processes along with state-of-the-art technologies. You will report directly to Babak Bajelan, as People Leader in Global IT, and Sune Mejlvang, as a Functional Leader, who are both based in Hellerup. You will be based in Hellerup.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Design, build, and optimize semantic models in Power BI that balance agility and performance
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data experiences with a strong UX focus
• Use tools like Tabular Editor, Power BI Pipelines, and Logic Apps to streamline development and deployment
• Create and manage DAX measures, calculated columns, and metadata
• Collaborate continuously with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into scalable BI solutions
• Support backend engineering tasks when needed, including SQL development, data modeling, and integration
• Work closely with backend engineers and the Product Owner in a matrix team setup

Qualifications and Skills:

You hold a relevant academic degree – it could be a Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or something entirely different, and knowledge from a Pharma domain is a plus.

Furthermore, you have:

• 3+ years of experience with Power BI, Tabular Editor, DAX, and semantic model design
• Solid experience with Azure, SQL and SSMS and/or Databrikcs/dbt
• Familiarity with Power BI add-ins and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to independently design and deliver performant semantic models and BI solutions
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and directly with business stakeholders
• Ideally you are well versed with DevOps, Databricks
