About this opportunity

We seek a Senior Business Architect for Nordea Pensions (NLP) in Denmark. In Nordea we firmly believe that together we lead the way, enabling dreams and everyday aspirations for a greater good.  As the Senior Business Architect, you will be responsible for business modelling working with business strategies and processes that focuses on developing, enhancing, building and fulfilling our business strategy for Nordea Pension.  You will be the responsible person working with techniques like BPMN modelling of processes and business services defining and delivering business architecture in tight collaboration with our architects in Technology.  You will be accountable and responsible for ensuring that our development within product and business development aligns with the overall business architecture, contributing to prioritized initiatives are developed and implemented as planned. You will be part of the CDO office in Product & Business Development, in which we aim to ensure that the prioritized development according to our overall strategy for Nordea Pension is fulfilled and necessary enhancements are continuously implemented following our well-established processes. We actively challenge the status quo, consistently questioning our approach while acknowledging that we don’t need to address every aspect simultaneously.  The environment at Product & Business Development reflects a balance, allowing us to navigate the complexities of our mission with agility and innovation.

Your responsibilities will include, while not be limited to:

• Contribute to Product & Business development and enhancements of Nordea Pensions’ business architecture.
• Ensure sufficient knowledge of business processes, used applications and business architecture in Product & Business Development.
• Ensure business architectural roadmaps adhering to and supporting overall business strategi as well as implement the solutions fulfilling the strategic goals.
• Maintain focus on reusing, optimizing and simplifying our business landscape.
• Engage relevant stakeholders in the relevant parts of the development process.
• Analyse and combine domain knowledge with the competence to define and models processes, services and concepts mapping potential possibilities for growth in business.

This is a new position with high level of complexity, we expect you to have years of experience from similar positions and being up to date on best practice within defining and describing business architecture. Mandatory that you have experience from financial regulated industries and preferably from commercial Pension companies understanding the business complexity and processes in a pensions company.

Your experience and background:

• Broad and relevant experience working on documenting business architecture supporting business strategy.
• Broad and relevant experience working with business analysis in a structural manner.
• Experienced project manager with a broad technology experience.
• Capability to work distributed across on-location and off-shore/near shore environments.
• Strong communicator that can express complicated matters in an easy and graspable way in verbal and written communication.
• Relevant and documented experience for working with business architecture in complex organizations.
• Self-motivated, professional, high integrity with a balanced set of values reflecting high ethics.
• Proficiency in Danish and English, both spoken and written.
