Senior Business Process Specialist – Governance Team (Governance Risk & Compliance Team)

At Inpay, we’re reshaping the world of finance. To strengthen our Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) team, we are looking for a Senior Business Process Specialist who thrives on detail, collaboration, and driving meaningful improvements.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will be central to analysing, designing, and executing on optimizing business processes to improve efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and enable collaboration across the organization.

You’ll be expected to:

    • Perform quality assurance and compliance assessments of documented business processes, procedures, and policies.
    • Analyse and streamline processes, recommending improvements to enhance scalability, performance, and customer satisfaction.
    • Document and embed scalable processes aligned with company standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
    • Support and drive implementation of improvement initiatives in collaboration with teams across Inpay.
    • Act as a bridge between GRC and the wider business, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes.
    • Support and report on GRC compliance, audits, and process health.

Areas of Responsibility

    • Lead and support process optimization projects, audits, and compliance initiatives.
    • Facilitate information gathering and documentation for audits and assessments.
    • Ensure policies, processes, and procedures remain current, relevant, and compliant.
    • Maintain and continuously improve Inpay’s Quality Management System (QMS).

Who are we looking for

    • You are structured, detail-oriented, and proactive with a collaborative mindset. You thrive in a fast-paced, international environment, and you’re motivated by creating order, enabling compliance, and making processes run smoothly.
    • Must-have experience:
    • 5+ years in Business Process Management, Governance, Risk & Compliance, or a related field.
    • Proven record in process design, optimization, and documentation.
    • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (AML, GDPR, DORA, PSD2, PCI-DSS).
    • Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 27001).
    • Strong skills in facilitation, stakeholder engagement and change management.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication – able to make the complex simple.
    • A data-driven problem solver with strong analytical skills.

    • Nice to have
    • Experience from the payments or fintech industry.
    • Understanding of project management best practices.
    • Fluent in Danish.
