Drive category strategies that advance Demant’s Group priorities
Demant Indirect Procurement is growing, and as part of our ambition to streamline our supplier landscape, strengthen governance, and enhance value creation across HQ, we are expanding our team. We are now looking for a dedicated Senior Category Manager to lead four key HQ categories: Marketing, Facility Management, R&D & Group Services.

In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing impactful category strategies within areas that directly influence Demant’s business performance, innovation capacity, and overall employee experience. Your strategic insight and collaboration skills will help drive long‑term improvements and bring consistency across our global organization.

Some of your tasks will include:

• Drive the category strategy roadmap across all four areas.


• Support HQ-wide efforts to streamline, consolidate, and optimize our supplier landscape.


• Ensure transparency, compliance, and strategic alignment across HQ stakeholders.


• Conduct category analyses, market screenings, e-sourcing activities, and competitive tenders.


• Lead negotiations and support commercial decision-making.


• Build strong stakeholder relationships across Marketing, Facility Operations, R&D & Group Services leadership.


• Identify opportunities for standardization and improved supplier performance.

This position is based in Smørum just outside Copenhagen.

Experienced Category Manager
We imagine that you have a commercial or technical university degree. If you have gained your knowledge and experience in a different way, that is equally relevant.

You have already gathered some years of experience in procurement and category management, but you are still eager to grow and expand your expertise.

In your career, you have gained significant experience with Marketing, Facility, R&D, or professional services.

We are also looking for:

• sharp analytical thinking and a proactive drive for improvement.


• skills at engaging and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
