Job Description - Senior Engineer - Automated Logistics

This is a rare opportunity to join our automated logistics team at the heart of our digital organization. You will help shape how IT technology transforms logistics in manufacturing across our factories worldwide.

You’ll work on solutions that improve reliability, scalability, and usability, while collaborating closely with colleagues on the shop floor and across IT.

Core responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate secure, scalable, and reliable digital solutions
  • Develop primarily in .NET (C#) and React
  • Ensure production readiness with strong DevOps, reliability practices, and production-readiness
  • Work closely with factory and business stakeholders to solve real-world problems and ensure business continuity
  • Contribute to the team’s vision, backlog, and ways of working
  • Promote a culture of quality, learning, and continuous improvement

Do you have what it takes?

Core skills

  • Ability to translate real-world processes into technical solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills in complex systems
  • Experience with .NET (C#)
  • Experience working in large, enterprise environments
  • Knowledge of relational databases and event-driven systems
  • A quality-first mindset and interest in best practices
  • A collaborative, curious, and growth-oriented approach

Nice to have (not required)

  • Front-end experience (React + TypeScript)
  • CI/CD, GitHub Actions, automated testing
  • Docker, Kubernetes, or container platforms
  • Industrial/OT systems, factory automation, or IoT
  • Messaging technologies (e.g., MQTT)
  • Experience with infrastructure as code
  • Familiarity with PLCs or OT environments
