Global QEHS is a department of 30 colleagues split into three different teams; Business Quality Management, Product Quality Management, and Supplier Quality Management & Compliance. We work closely together both within but also across teams and with numerous stakeholders in sales and at production sites.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Global Senior Quality Specialist to join our team in Business Quality Management. This role is a 12 month temporary role and is based in Aarhus.

How you will make an impact

You can look forward to an exciting role with great variation in responsibilities and tasks:

• Quality and Food Safety Leadership – be the primary driving force on quality and food safety issues together with local site quality teams, finding pragmatic and robust solutions to food safety and quality challenges.


• Crisis Management – participate in appointed task force related to local or global crises, ensuring resolution strategies and clear communication towards HQ.


• Consultation in RCA/CAPA – offer expertise and consultation in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes.


• Process Implementation – support local Quality teams in the implementation of new global processes, methods, and systems related to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Quality & Food Safety (Q&FS) strategy.


• Stakeholder Management – manage and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders 

You can anticipate opportunities for travel, as this role may require approximately 30 days of travel per year within Denmark and abroad.

What will make you successful

We expect you to have a master's degree in a relevant field such as Food Science, Quality Management, or Dairy Engineering. In addition, you should bring some years of experience in quality, food safety. Experience from a food production environment will serve you well.

We further imagine the ideal candidate to have proven problem-solving and decision-making skills. It's important that you possess a strong independent drive and the ability to excel in informal leadership roles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must – as these skills will help you to collaborate well across teams.

Naturally, you are passionate about ensuring product quality, food safety, and compliance stewardship through creative and forward-thinking approaches.

As Arla Foods Ingredients is an international organization, fluency in spoken and written English is a requirement. As we do have business in Latin America, Spanish would be an advantage.
