Senior Internal Auditor

Noord Global are currently hiring for a Senior Internal Auditor to join our global consumer goods client, based in Copenhagen in Denmark. This isn't just about ticking boxes; it's about playing a crucial role in ensuring global operations are running smoothly, efficiently, and with the highest integrity. You'll be getting involved in a diverse range of audits, from financial and operational reviews to compliance and risk management projects, giving you a real breadth of experience.

Responsibilities in this role:

• Planning and executing internal audits across global business units 
  
• Identifying and assessing key risks and controls, and then developing practical recommendations for improvement
  
• Collaborating with stakeholders across different departments and geographies – building strong relationships is key
  
• Preparing clear and concise audit reports that really tell the story and drive positive change
  
• Staying ahead of the curve on best practices and regulatory developments in internal audit
  
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the company's internal audit methodologies and processes.
  

Requirements:

• Approximately 5+ years in internal audit, ideally within a multinational environment (consumer goods experience is a bonus!)
  
• Big 4 audit experience is a huge plus
  
• You possess a strong understanding of risk management, internal controls, and audit methodologies
  
• You're fluent in English (both written and spoken) - other languages are always a plus in this international environment
