Job Description - Senior Net Revenue Manager (NRM), Global Foodservice - Arhus

Now is an exciting period to be joining the Global FoodService team as we are establishing a new Senior NRM Manager role to help us win in the markets and further develop and embed our B2B/FoodService capabilities and G2M execution. Joining us as we embark on this new journey provides a great opportunity to test your abilities and drive change across the organisation.


 


You will join the Global FoodService G2M Centre of Excellence that is accountable for achieving ambitious growth and profitability aspirations across the European Zone by developing, implementing and embedding world class B2B/FoodService capabilities and G2M strategies.


 


How you will make an impact


As our new Senior NRM Manager, you will be at the forefront of a major commercial transformation, strengthening our trade and wholesale models, optimizing trade investments and supporting negotiations with key partners. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and markets to ensure strong Go-to-‑toMarket execution and to help Arla win in an increasingly complex B2B/FoodService lan‑Market execution and to help Arla FoodService win in an increasingly complex B2B/FoodService landscape.


 


This is a strategic and operational role where you will be responsible for the development, implementation and embedment of our NRM Strategy, focussing on Trade Terms optimization: transition from a retail adjacent to a FoodService Trade Investment Framework with “future proof commercials” that support our defined G2M strategies.


To succeed with this requires close collaboration and co-creation with senior stakeholders across markets. The role enables you to build a broad understanding of customer, category and competitor dynamics in the FoodService industry and gives you first-hand exposure to commercial plans and cross-functional teams.


 


As a part of the Global FoodService G2M Centre of Excellence, you will:



  • Work very closely together within the Global FoodService G2M team: Winning (Global) Organized Chains and Independent Customers (Digitally) and codify the ways of working across the European Zone as well as international markets

  • Partner with local & global senior stakeholders to develop and execute holistic plans that drive a sustainable balance of volume, price, and mix growth using the outputs from NRM processes (pricing, pack price architecture, trade & portfolio mix, promo effectiveness and trade terms)

  • Support markets in their change journey towards a more digitally lead future around data and analytics

  • Drive your own initiatives from idea to execution

  • Train the Arla commercial teams in NRM philosophies, tools, analysis and executional tactics to build capabilities across the wider organisation

  • Continue to develop existing NRM methodology with the local teams, synthesize best practice and share those back with the markets


 


The role is ideally based in Aarhus; however, for the right candidate we are open to alternative locations. You may be based in any of our European markets, including Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands or the UK. You will join a truly international team, and the role requires approximately 30% travel.


 


What will make you successful


The ideal candidate has minimum several years of experience from a commercial role in a B2B/FoodService/Away-from-Home business unit in an FMCG company, in e.g. NRM, sales (wholesale key account management), category or finance, or management consulting background. You have P&L knowledge as well as knowledge of pricing disciplines and tools. You have a university degree in business administration/finance/economics/statistics, or similar, combined with strong IT skills (PowerPoint and Excel).


 


In addition, we are looking for candidates who possess the following:



  • Highly numerate with excellent problem-solving skills – a growth mindset looking to find and implement solutions

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities simultaneously

  • Independency in thinking and framing problems, and the ability to utilising data from various sources to provide insights necessary for making data-driven decisions

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams



  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to resolve difficult situations
