At The LEGO Group, our Developer Relations team, also recognized as developer advocacy or evangelism, is anchored in encouraging robust connections with software developers and the overarching developer community. This translates into a multitude of responsibilities, ranging from technical advocacy, where we nurture the merits and intricacies of our technological offerings, to content creation, ensuring developers have access to top-tier, informative materials. Within this vibrant nexus, the Communication Strategist role emerges as a beacon, magnifying our engagements, orchestrating communications, and ensuring that the developer's voice resonates deeply throughout the organization, reinforcing trust, dedication, and long-term growth.
The team is based in the new LEGO Digital Office in Copenhagen. The work environment is exciting, inspiring, flexible, and we like to have fun along the way!
Come lead the design, development, and maintenance of the high-quality, scalable web applications for the LEGO Group development teams within the Developer Relations space. Collaborate with product team, and other partners to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
The preferred candidate holds a demonstrable experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role, with a solid portfolio of web development projects. Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies to ensure high-quality code (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, or automated testing). Solid grasp of web security principles and standard processes.
Maybe your technology toolbox contains some of these: Proficiency in front-end technologies and popular frameworks like Angular or React. Solid grasp of back-end technologies like Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Django, and experience with database systems. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), build tools, and package managers. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD. Also, effective communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work well and Agile in a team environment.
