You will be part of the strategic business unit “Performance Nutrition” based in AFI headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark. where we develop, document and commercialise ingredients for the global sports and health nutrition industries. You will collaborate across the organisation and with customers to drive long-term growth and innovation”, says Head of Sales Performance Nutrition, Vinicius Mendes Morais.


 


How you will make an impact


As Sr. Account Manager, you will be responsible for value-added B2B sales of ingredients to sports nutrition customers across selected global markets. You will manage a portfolio of strategic customers, ensuring strong partnerships, accurate forecasting and successful commercial execution in a high-demand environment. You will operate within the Performance Nutrition team and collaborate closely with Sales Support, Product Management and other key stakeholders to deliver on ambitious growth targets.


 


Your responsibility will include:



  • Owning and developing a portfolio of international strategic accounts, driving long-term growth and profitability

  • Building and executing account plans, including robust forecasting and pipeline management in complex supply-demand situations

  • Negotiating commercial agreements and leading high-level customer dialogues to deliver sustainable business outcomes

  • Navigating complex stakeholder environments, ensuring clear communication across customers and internal teams

  • Identifying new business opportunities and actively contributing to the Performance Nutrition strategy 


 


The role is based at our headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark, with expected 50-60 travel days a year mainly to destinations in Europe, either for customer visits or participation in trade shows.


 


What will make you successful


You are a commercially driven and experienced account manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment with high expectations. You bring a strong ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and are confident in managing demanding customer relationships


 


We expect the right candidate to:



  • Have at least 7+ years of B2B sales experience with full account ownership, within food, nutrition or ingredients industries.



  • Possess strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trust with both internal and external partners

  • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and a data-driven approach to identifying and developing new business opportunities

  • Are experienced in negotiating complex agreements and managing customer portfolios in dynamic markets

  • Communicate fluently in English; additional languages are an advantage

  • Preferably you have experience from the dairy ingredients industry
