If you’re a caring game-changer eager to make a real impact from within the leading insect ingredient company worldwide, join us as our new Communications Intern and contribute to a better food system!We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our communication team, focusing on Digital Communication and E-mail marketing. This internship offers an exciting experience in a dynamic and innovative environment, perfect for those passionate about digital communications. Your role will involve developing and automating our email marketing, including our current newsletter, the Insect Insider, and creating a new second newsletter and ‘welcome journey’. This internship requires a commitment of 4-5 days a week.

• Design effective templates, create appealing designs, and coordinate the automation of our current newsletter
• Translate objectives such as lead generation into concrete email marketing assets using Account Engagement (our marketing automation system), aligning with our brand.
• Assist in creating a new newsletter and ‘welcome journey’, defining target groups, goals, and strategy, and managing implementation.
• Identify the latest trends and best practices in email marketing and digital communication, providing insights and suggestions to make our email marketing game changing.
• Serve as the day-to-day contact for external agencies and manage other stakeholders like copywriters. 
• Co-organise and participate in sessions with various departments to gather information and build internal support for newsletters.
• Assist in building quarterly reports for the existing newsletter and dashboards for the new newsletter and ‘welcome journey’.
• Ensure smooth execution by tracking schedules, meeting deadlines, monitoring progress, and updating project plans. 
• Provide presentations and reports, including a final report.

• Currently studying towards a bachelor’s or master in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. HBO or WO.
• A strong passion for digital communication. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Basic knowledge of communication principles and eagerness to learn new skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with content management systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Comfortable with working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to take on new challenges and offer creative ideas.
