Inpay is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Student Assistant to join our Financial Crime Risk team in central Copenhagen. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of financial crime prevention while working in a dynamic, international fintech environment.
As a Student Assistant, you will support various teams within Financial Crime Risk, contributing to our mission of upholding regulatory standards while delivering excellent customer service. You’ll collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders and gain exposure to key areas of compliance and risk management.
Your Responsibilities:
- You will assist with tasks across the following areas:
- KYC (Know Your Customer): Verifying documentation to determine beneficial ownership.
- AML (Anti-Money Laundering): Reviewing transaction alerts flagged for potential suspicious activity.
- MLRO (Money Laundering Reporting Office): Supporting the maintenance of governance documentation.
What We’re Looking For:
- We’re seeking a student who is currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program. While your field of study is not critical, we’re especially interested in candidates who bring the following qualities:
- Curious and eager to learn – You enjoy exploring new topics and developing your skills.
- Proactive and outgoing – You take initiative and thrive in collaborative environments.
- Interested in financial crime, compliance, or risk management – A passion for these areas is a strong plus.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced setting – You can adapt quickly and stay organized under pressure.
- Fluent in English – You can communicate clearly and confidently in an international workplace.
- Available to work from our Copenhagen office – You can commit to at least 15 hours per week at our Toldbodgade location.
