Job Description - Student Assistant - SI&OP Coordinator

About the role
As a student assistant in Global Inventory, you will report to the Global Inventory Manager and also work closely with the Demand Planning Team based in India. Procurement & Operations, which Global Inventory is a part of, consists of more than 40 colleagues all over the world.

Your responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be to support the drive of tactical inventory planning and assist with building the SI&OP organization in FLSmidth Cement.

  • Assist with building and structuring the SI&OP organization in FLSmidth Cement
  • Lead tactical inventory planning reviews as part of global SI&OP process to develop and calculate optimal inventory levels
  • Coordinate and manage the planning cycle ensuring alignment on forecasts
  • Act as main point of contact towards Tactical Inventory Planners and regional stakeholders (global product line management, procurement, regional/global demand planning, global supply planning, logistics, order handling, sales)
  • Analyse sales data, trends, and customer demand to develop optimal inventory plans
  • Employ inventory policies in coordination with the Global Inventory Manager
  • Some travel might be required

What You Bring

  • You are a current student of MSc/BSc in Business Administration or Supply Chain
  • Strong interest in implementing centralized inventory planning and SI&OP process
  • Well-developed communication skills, both interpersonal and organizational
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent English skills. Other languages are a big plus. You are not required to speak Danish to apply for this position.
