Job Description - System Architect

For our Platform Delivery department within the Software division, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated System Architect to be responsible for driving platform engineering solutions, that will have significant impact to how we develop software in SGRE.

How to contribute to our vision  

You will be a part of the architectural runway, which bridge the team architects and the Enterprise Architects and look at the architecture from a system and Product perspective. You will in an agile manner analyze new product requirements from the PM and PO’s, Enterprise Architects, or key stakeholders from the other development ARTs and deriving requirements and designs for the platform engineering teams.

As a System Architect, you will be responsible for setting the technical direction in the development of the Digital foundation for our SW platform regarding Hardware, Virtualization, deployment, and access management capabilities we develop. Furthermore, you will be a part of designing the tooling and engineering services we will support in the future.

What you need to make a difference

  • You have an academic degree in Information Technology or Computer Science but your passion and experience within IT and DevOps is most important.
  • You have substantial experience in working in an industrial Software development organization.
  • You have gained experience with Continuous integration and Continuous deployment of complex software systems.
  • You preferably have gained experience with Hardware infrastructure and virtualization.
  • You have experience in applying agile software development practices (e.g. SAFe)
  • You have knowledge on GitLab, Gitflow, GitOps and Chef/Ansible
  • You are motivated by and interested in automation and development.
  • You take pride in getting the development projects working more effectively.
  • You are willing to travel a few weeks a year.
  • You have good communication skills.
  • You have excellent English verbal and written language skills - a basic understanding of Danish is advantageous.
