Job Description - Talent Universe: Performance Analytics Lead - Power Solutions



Deliver impactful performance insights for Power Solutions at the heart of a global, data-driven organisation. In this senior role, you’ll partner closely with leadership to shape analytics strategies, translate business priorities into actionable solutions, and elevate decision-making. Finance > Group Financial Performance > Reporting & Analytics CoE 


The Reporting & Analytics (R&A) Centre of Excellence is a global function in Finance responsible for enabling data-driven performance management and decision-making across Vestas. The CoE brings together business-facing analytics, governance and definitions, analytics engineering, and operations into a single, integrated operating model. Its purpose is to create a scalable, standardised, and high-quality analytics environment that delivers “one version of the truth” across Vestas. The R&A CoE works closely with Finance, Commercial, Operations, and Digital to translate business needs into analytics products, while ensuring consistency in data definitions, efficient delivery, and modern engineering practices. By combining subject matter knowledge, technical capability, and operational excellence, the CoE plays a critical role in improving performance transparency, accelerating decision-making, and reducing manual reporting across the enterprise.


 


Responsibilities


This role delivers analytics and performance insights supporting Power Solutions, working closely with business stakeholders and leadership. It sits within the Performance & Decision Products pillar, focusing on high-quality analysis and insight generation.


 



  • Define KPIs, performance frameworks, and reporting structures

  • Partner with senior business leadership on insights and decisions

  • Translate business priorities into analytics product roadmaps and design analytical solutions in line with business needs

  • Drive adoption of analytics solutions across stakeholders

  • Prioritise initiatives and manage domain backlog

  • Ensure alignment with governance and definitions standards

  • Collaborate with engineering for scalable delivery and continuously improve performance transparency


 


Qualifications



  • Degree in finance, business, or analytics

  • 10+ years’ experience in analytics, finance, or strategy

  • Experience in performance management in complex organisations

  • Solid stakeholder management at senior leadership level

  • Experience working cross-functionally and globally

  • Familiarity with BI tools

  • We prefer experience in industrial or energy sector

Expected travel up to 20 days annually.
