As the Team Lead Engineering Management Operations, you will be responsible for providing the required engineering, technical capabilities and solutions to our operational fleet worldwide.
Through your day-to-day leadership, you will provide guidance to the Operations and Engineering team members and act as a strong interface and central point of coordination between the two business units. For this technical leadership, sharing knowledge, best practices and lessons learned between projects, as well as continuous improvement of processes and approaches will be a key part of your role.
As a team-oriented and independent manager, we offer you the opportunity to adapt existing solutions to regional requirements and to act as a bridge in our international matrix organization.

Your future plans: 

• Act as key account for offshore projects in Operations (under warranty or self-perform incl. JVs), facilitating communication and collaboration between Operations and Engineering to ensure efficient resource allocation and service coordination.
• Provide engineering inputs such as failure rate assumptions and resource planning to MTP, ensure scope clarification, budget alignment and quarterly revision of rolling forecast for all engineering services to Operations.
• Supporting the commissioning process through to COD and handover from the construction team to the operations team for engineering issues.
• Establishing a transfer of lessons learned from operations to engineering to ensure a continuous improvement of our technical development activities.
• Manage special projects throughout the operational life of the wind farm, ensuring technical requirements are met and projects are completed efficiently.
• Coordinate Engineering input to various lifecycle projects such as life assessment, extension, decommissioning and repowering initiatives.
• Improve and further develop the current Engineering to Operations support landscape (ticket system, network of technical experts, SPOC setup for various disciplines), including development and implementation of Engineering Management Operations processes in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
• Engineering's central point of contact for managing asset safety risks, top engineering risks and emerging risks, as well as data management and digital initiatives for engineering topics relevant to operations.
• Represent Engineering in various Operations and stakeholder meetings (e.g. Offshore Operations MPD, General Manager meetings or technical working groups).
• Support Chiefs and Lead Experts with Operational topics e.g. Engineering Management Instructions (EMIs).

Your profile: 

• In addition to a completed degree in economics or engineering, business administration or technology, you have gained in-depth knowledge and job-related experience in the area of Operations and Engineering.
• You have significant experience in the area of Engineering support and Operations of large-scale and complex projects, relatable to wind offshore projects
• Detail-orientation, technical and strategic mindset, work scheduling , cost awareness, and your striving for high quality results guarantee the success of your measures, projects and processes.
• Leading employees, even if they work at different international locations, comes just as naturally to you as integrating new divisions and providing guidance in times of change.
• You have gathered experiences in an internationally acting matrix organization and know how to juggle different time zones, cultures and languages
• Business fluency in English is a pre-requisite for this position
• Being a natural leader, your focus is on the development of your employees and you support and motivate your team with a view to customer orientation, personal initiative and solution-oriented collaboration.
