At Veo Technologies, we are scaling fast. To support our journey from a high-growth tech startup to a
mature global leader, we are looking for a Technical Buyer with a sharp analytical mind and an
international outlook.
The Role: As our Technical Buyer, you will take ownership of the procurement lifecycle for our
advanced hardware components. You will work closely with our R&D and Production teams to ensure
we have the best suppliers on board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a steady flow: Manage the forecast and procurement of electronics and mechanical
parts with a high degree of ownership - Optimization: Use data to manage stock levels, ensuring we; Moving Faster Together;
without over-investing in inventory. Reviewing current processes and implementing new - if
needed - Supplier Management: Conduct international supplier visits and audits to ensure quality and
capacity to cope with the volatile global market - Coordination: Interact with R&D, production, and finance to ensure that the supply chain setup is
optimized - with plenty of opportunities to influence the daily work
Your Profile:
- Experience: Preferred 5 years of experience in a technical purchasing or buyer role.
- Industry: Strong preference for candidates from the Electronics or High-Tech Hardware
industry. - International Mindset: You have experience working with global suppliers (Asia/Europe) and
are comfortable traveling to build strong partnerships. - Data-Driven: You are an expert at working with forecasts and ERP systems to optimize
inventory in a dynamic setup with changing priorities
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Supplier OTIF (On-Time In-Full): Monitoring delivery reliability to prevent production stops.
- Inventory Turns / Optimization: Balancing stock levels to avoid capital tie-up while ensuring
100% production uptime. - PPV (Purchase Price Variance): Measuring the ability to maintain or reduce component
costs against the standard budget. - Forecast Accuracy: How well supplier orders align with actual production demand.
