As our Trade Compliance Specialist, you will be the key compliance partner for all import and export activities at Campus Brabrand. This role safeguards our ability to support global R&D projects, customer collaborations, and regulatory commitments by managing complex international requirements, building robust documentation flows, and maintaining smooth communication with authorities, couriers, and internal partners. With increasing global regulatory expectations, you will play a critical role in minimizing risk, preventing delays, and ensuring business continuity for key markets worldwide.

Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Manage end‑to‑end import processes, including verifying HS codes, reviewing country restrictions, defining shipment purpose, and securing required documentation
- Coordinate import permits, respond to authority inquiries, and ensure accurate, compliant submissions to relevant systems
- Support export activities for samples, raw materials, analytical materials, and products of animal origin by determining country requirements and preparing certificates and declarations
- Apply for and manage documentation in TRACES (Trade Control and Expert System) and DVFA systems for official controls and certificates
- Ensure correct labeling, documentation, and packaging compliance, including separation of high‑risk materials such as POAO
- Maintain and update country‑specific requirements, templates, and guidance
- Collaborate with R&D, Applications, QA, Distribution, and Regulatory colleagues and teams on site to streamline workflows and reduce administrative burden
- Monitor legislation, maintain awareness of regulatory changes, and support internal audits (including DVFA‑related audits)
- Ensure compliance with cold chain needs, dangerous goods rules, and border control requirements in coordination with distribution and courier
What Makes You the Right Fit
- Strong understanding of food and feed regulations, international trade compliance, and classification (including HS codes and POAO rules)
- Experience in coordinating regulatory documentation such as health certificates, attestations, import permits, and inspection documents
- Analytical, systematic, and detail‑oriented approach with the ability to interpret and apply complex legislation
- Background in food science, feed, biology, microbiology, regulatory compliance, trade compliance, or similar fields
- Experience in working with EU and non‑EU regulatory frameworks and handling high‑risk materials
- Comfortable working with TRACES, DVFA systems, and document management tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English and Danish
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complexity and meet deadlines
- Service‑minded, reliable, and principled, with strong follow‑through and a quality‑driven mindset
- Ability to network with colleagues on site as well as with stakeholders in other IFF locations
How Would You Stand Out?
- Experience with EU Regulation 2017/625 and POAO import/export requirements
- Direct collaboration experience with DVFA, FVST, or similar regulatory authorities
- Proven ability to develop or improve compliance processes, documentation templates, or training materials
