About the role
You will assist the Product Manager in translating business opportunities into data products in collaboration with the other team members (Data engineer, Data Analyst, Data scientist etc.) to deliver value to the retail organisation.
About the team
You will join the Retail product team in Data & Analytics, which is an agile, cross functional team consisting of engineers, data and business analysts that work closely with the commercial Retail organisation. Your team will consist of approximately 5 team members, and you will be reporting to the Product Manager.
Your responsibilities include:
Formulate and define scope and objectives based on a thorough understanding of business needs and business processes.
Understand the business implications of advanced analytics solutions and assist in defining the solutions to support any future business requirements.
Execute advanced analytics projects and provide ad hoc analyses to the business as needed.
Design, drive, and implement analytics tools and ad hoc analyses. Engage with users to understand & meet their analytics requirements.
Ensure timely delivery of reports/analysis and proactively communicate delays/issues.
Ensure data accuracy in each deliverable.
Provide support for business continuity of deliverables/analyses
Requirements:
3-5 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in data visualizations and dashboards.
Effective SQL skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Proficiency in querying and manipulating complex raw datasets for analysis.
Experience explaining technical concepts to varied audiences and experience translating business objectives into actionable analyses.
Hands on expertise in business communication tools / presentation skills.
Proven stakeholder management skills
BS Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Finance and other quantitative areas.
Fluent English both spoken and written
