HR Intern

Are you studying a master’s degree, and do you want to get a solid foundation for a future career in HR? Would you also like to leave your mark on Danish Crown’s future HR agenda? Then you might be the HR-intern that we are looking for.

You will become part of the HR department supporting the biggest business unit in Danish Crown. We support leaders and employees across the business with the entire HR-palette, and we have the overall responsibility for implementing and keeping the annual HR cycle of work going in close collaboration with the business. In our department we have a large degree of flexibility, an informal culture, and we value helping each other in reaching ambitious goals.

Furthermore, we are always curious about the latest HR-trends and initiatives and are on the lookout for ways to improve our current practices. We therefore look forward to being inspired by you.

Gain experience with the entire HR-palette
It is important for us that once you finish your internship with us, you have gained a substantial level of experience and business understanding. Therefore, you will participate as a natural part of the daily work in the HR-department, while also being responsible for your own projects, which we of course adjust according to your areas of interest and competences.

Examples of projects by former interns:

• Setting up a best practice for working with engagement survey results.
• Creation of campaigns to improve interest in development initiatives at our production sites.
• Development of a Toolbox for leaders to work with High Potential employees

Are you curious, and enthusiastic about learning more about HR?
You are studying for your master’s degree. Besides that, it is important that you:

• Are curious by nature and eager to learn from the HR-world
• Are structured and accountable in your way of working
• Have an easy time communicating both verbally and orally in English.

Experience from a student job or project work is a plus, however, most importantly you have an interest in HR and are curious about how an international HR-function works in practice.

The practicalities
Your internship will be located at our new HQ at Danish Crown Vej 1, 8960 Randers. The bus from Aarhus to Randers stops very close to the main entrance. If in car, it is only a 25 min. ride from Aarhus.

The time of the internship is in the fall 2023 and is estimated to 37 hours a week. We imagine that you will start in August/primo September and your internship will last 4-6 months. However, we will plan the exact duration and number of working hours together with you to make it fit your studies.

In Danish Crown we are positive about giving a gratitude of up to DKK 3000 per month.
