Are you studying a Master’s in Commercial and Retail Management, Information Management or other revenant programmes at Aarhus University – and would you like to get hands-on experience working with Arla’s Commercial activities across Europe? Then you might be the one whom we are looking for.

About the position
As an Intern, you will participate in Arla’s European Commercial Operations, supporting projects across teams and borders. We’re searching for more interns to support a variety of European projects. In each project, you will get first-hand experience with strategic and operational tasks.

The five interns we are looking for will be working in the following areas:

Intern in Net Revenue Management (NRM)
You will join the European NRM Centre of Excellence (CoE), which is accountable for achieving ambitious growth and profitability aspirations across the European Zone.

• You will support the European NRM team to develop and execute a roadmap to build capability, processes, and tools to enable improved business outcomes.
• You will support the development of the strategy and commercial plans through category deep dive analytics across all NRM levers (brand portfolio pricing, pack price architecture, active channel mix, promotion management, trade terms optimization)
• You will help local markets identify opportunities and address commercial challenges.

Intern in Customer Operations

You will be part of the European team, responsible for transforming our customer’s service experiences, as well as unlocking value potential to fund our future ambitions

• You will work on digital transformation projects, enabling a connected customer journey across all communication channels .
• You will work with teams across all of Arla’s European markets, gaining insights from diverse customer & market needs, enabling appropriately scaled ways of working to be a reality .
• You will support our End to End planning transformation, leveraging advanced analytics to drive key customer demand insights, ensuring appropriate actions across our entire supply chain.

eCommerce

You will be part of the eCommerce Acceleration Team supporting our strategy and growth ambitions across Europe.

• • You will gain insights into the eCommerce landscape, including eGrocers bricks and mortar, pure players, eCommerce Business-to-Business and Direct-to-Consumer.
  • You will support monitoring and tracking our sales metrics and KPIs for the eCommerce team, using Digital Shelf Analytics to gain insights on shopper journey mapping and brand /product presentation.
  • You will support making winning A+ content for our brands, ensuring Arla succeeds across the digital shelf.

Channel Development

You will be a part of our International discounter strategy across the European market.

• • You will be working with the sales leads in each country on Lidl and Aldi, managing our growth opportunities and capturing new routes to the market.
  • You help ensure that Arla is where the shopper is buying their groceries. The discount channel has consistently outperformed grocery growth in the past years, and with the current economic challenges across Europe, this will continue to attract shoppers.

Digital Transformation

• • You will support the development of the Digital Transformation strategy across the European markets
  • You will be working on digital transformation projects and change programs to ensure value from our digital investments
  • You will support the markets in building strong digital capabilities to provide anchoring of projects

Who are you?
You are studying a MSc in Commercial and Retail Management, Information Management or other revenant programmes at Aarhus University. You will start your internship in Autumn 2022, where you will be working 30-37 hours/per week.
