Job Description
Have you completed the first part of the Laboratory Technician education? And are you passionate about testing and securing the quality of the materials that goes into LEGO® products and play a part in the development of sustainable LEGO® bricks?
Internship start H1 2023
We are looking for two dedicated and passionate Laboratory technician students to help us reach our goals.
Position one: Quality Test Center (QTC) are establishing the mechanical lifetime baseline of knobs, tubes, cross holes, and other connecting points on LEGO elements, which are used again and again by kids building and rebuilding creative LEGO creations. You will imitate the wear and tear of time and children’s hands, but over a short time span, which will involve both simple and more complicated laboratory-based tests. Furthermore, you will be testing on new materials and thereby be part of the exciting path for sustainable LEGO bricks.
As part of this, your specific tasks will be to:
Position two: The Materials department drives the approval process of new sustainable materials, colors and inks and are responsible for trouble shooting and developing our existing material platform as well as developing the sustainable material platform.

QTC is part of Quality in Development, meaning we help ensure the high quality of new and existing LEGO products that children and adults can enjoy for generations.
The Materials department is part of Engineering and Quality. Our goal is to make sure that The LEGO Group uses materials to their full potential and that new and sustainable materials are as good as their predecessors.
