As an intern in the Planning team within Supply Chain, you will assist a strong team of seven experienced and dedicated planners who are responsible for production planning across Kamstrup's four production areas. In the team we have a strong focus on collaboration and always strive to be one step ahead. Additionally, close contact with your colleagues will give you many opportunities for sparring and professional development.

An internship with focus on optimizing processes
As an Intern you will be an important part of ensuring that Kamstrup’s Production planning is effective, on time and optimized. You will be involved in the production planning of Kamstrup's four production lines and thereby gain an in-depth knowledge of our processes, capacities, production routes and MRP. In addition, during the internship you will be involved in small and medium-sized optimization projects focusing on the integration between sales, purchasing, production and lean. This will include data collection from production, parameter control, simulation, implementation, and subsequent controlling.

Personality matters
We are looking for an ambitious student who, with his or her professional background, has the skills to challenge the existing and seek new solutions. It is a requirement that you are currently studying for a Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or similar and have a strong analytical sense that enables you to coordinate production plans. It will also be an advantage if you are familiar with planning across the supply chain.

You are a responsible and well-structured person, who thrives in an outgoing role among national and international colleagues. Likewise, you are result-oriented, and are familiar with executing plans to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. You are well on track in a busy working environment with many changes and several ongoing projects. You are dedicated and ambitious and do not compromise when it comes to delivering results and meeting deadlines.

As we are an international organization, it is a requirement that you are fluent in written and spoken English.

We offer more than just an internship
For our coming intern, we offer a student worker position beginning before the internship, which means you will have the opportunity to become familiar with our organization and work processes before commencing the internship. The position as a Student Worker in Supply Chain Planning offers a varied job in an international company, where you will have the opportunity to test your knowledge and skills in practice.

The job is a part-time position with varying hours and your daily workplace will be at Kamstrup's head office in Stilling. The course of employment will be agreed individually. It is expected that the Student Worker position will transition into an internship position from August 2023 to December 2023. We would therefore like you to continue as an intern during this period. There will be an opportunity for a thesis collaboration afterwards.
