Job Description - Community Coordinator Volunteer/intern

Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to make a difference in the world? We're seeking a motivated Community Coordinator Volunteer to join our team at The Common Ones. This role is ideal for students looking to transition into the sustainability and community engagement field.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Community Coordinator Volunteer, you will:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with community partners, ensuring their needs are met and goals aligned with The Common Ones' objectives.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner inquiries, feedback, and concerns. Keep partners informed of relevant updates and opportunities.

  • Conduct comprehensive research on community engagement principles and practices.

  • Assist in the development of educational materials for our platforms.

  • Collaborate with project teams on community engagement, partnerships, and events.

  • Support project management activities related to community and sustainability projects.

  • Help organize and facilitate workshops and events related to sustainability and entrepreneurship.

  • Stay updated on community engagement frameworks, policies, and industry news.

  • Engage in content creation and dissemination of community engagement knowledge.

  • Utilize Meta Business Suite and Google Analytics to track, analyze, and report on community engagement metrics and online presence.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A strong passion for sustainability and community engagement concepts.

  • Excellent research and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.

  • Ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. Fluency in English is essential.

  • Capable of building rapport and maintaining positive relationships with a diverse range of partners in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to adapt to evolving responsibilities and contribute to team initiatives as needed.

  • Insights or knowledge on how to use Meta Business Suite and Google Analytics.
