Join Configit’s Global Marketing team as our new intern starting August/ September 2026 and help improve how customers, prospects, and search engines discover and engage with our website.

Configit helps large manufacturing companies simplify how they design, build, sell, and manage complex configurable products. Our customers are global leaders in industries such as manufacturing, automotive, and high-tech.

At Configit, marketing is about managing long and complex customer journeys. Since our solutions are high-value and tailored to large manufacturers, the sales process can take over a year. This makes our website, content, search visibility, and digital performance essential for building awareness, educating prospects, and supporting demand generation.

We are looking for an intern who is curious, structured, and eager to learn — ideally with some practical experience using WordPress, optimizing websites, working with SEO, or improving digital content performance.

What you will work on

As a Global Marketing Intern focused on website optimization, SEO, and GEO, you will support projects that strengthen Configit’s digital presence and make our content easier to find, understand, and use.

Your tasks may include:

• Managing, updating, and improving website pages in WordPress, with a focus on enhancing UX and UI.


• Checking links, formatting, metadata, page structure, and user experience.


• Identifying opportunities to improve website performance, navigation, and conversion paths.


• Optimizing website content for search engines, including titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, and keyword usage.


• Monitoring performance using tools such as Google Search Console, Matomo, or other marketing analytics platforms.


• Researching how Configit can improve visibility in AI-powered search and answer engines.


• Helping structure content so it is clear, authoritative, and easy for both people and AI systems to understand.


• Supporting reporting on website traffic, engagement, conversions, and organic visibility.


• Contributing ideas for improving Configit’s website, content experience, and digital campaigns.

Who we are looking for

You do not need to be an expert, but you should have a genuine interest in digital marketing, websites, and search.

You may be a good fit if you:

• Have some experience with WordPress or another CMS.


• Are interested in SEO, GEO, website optimization, content performance, and analytics.


• Have a structured approach and strong attention to detail.


• Enjoy working with both content and data.


• Are comfortable learning new tools and processes.


• Communicate clearly in English.

Experience with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Matomo,  MOZ, Ahrefs, or PageSpeed Insights, Canva, Adobe Premiere and Photoshop are a plus, but not required.
